Club is awarded "The Dragon Mark"

Great day for the club. After a lot of hard work and some guidance the club has been awarded The Dragon Mark. This is is an indication that the club meets a formal standard of swimming development and swimmer care, throughout that development.

Additionally it indicates a control of swimmer development for age groups and defined requirements for swimmer progression based on swimmer maturity as well as swimming ability

CATH ANKERS MEET

The club swimmers enjoyed a high level of success on, Sunday 16th June. The meet provided competitive opportunities for entrants aged between 8 and 17 years, with some club swimmers competing for the first time.

Held at the Wrexham Waterworld, the meet returned 89 personal best times, spread over 35 swimmers, with a medal haul of 34.

Keira Roberts was awarded best 12 year old girl swimmer at the meet.

Well done to all those who competed and represented the club so successfully and of course all those parents who managed the logistics required for such events.
